[SMM Weekly Review: Strong Wait-and-See Sentiment in the Market, EVA Transaction Center Continues to Decline] This week, the price of PV-grade EVA was 10,500-10,700 yuan/mt, the mainstream price range of EVA film was 13,000-13,200 yuan/mt, and the price range of EPE film was 14,500-15,000 yuan/mt.

SMM May 15 news:

EVA: This week, the price of PV-grade EVA ranged from 10,500 to 10,700 yuan/mt, with the transaction center continuing to decline. The prices of foaming-grade and cable-grade EVA also saw significant decreases. The decline in film prices on the demand side, coupled with the compression of price spreads, forced the raw material side to offer discounts for shipments. The overall market sentiment was one of strong wait-and-see, and it is expected that EVA prices will continue to decline in the later period.

Film: The mainstream price range for EVA film was 13,000 to 13,200 yuan/mt, while the price range for EPE film was 14,500 to 15,000 yuan/mt. The price of PV-grade EVA on the cost side fell, weakening cost support. On the demand side, module prices declined, and demand fell. Under the dual pressures of cost and demand, film prices declined.

POE: The domestic delivery-to-factory price of POE remained stable at 12,000 to 14,000 yuan/mt. Despite some petrochemical enterprises still being in their maintenance cycles, the market price of PV-grade POE is expected to fluctuate downward under the dual influences of weak demand and the gradual release of new capacity.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
